Chimerical is the project of 23 year old , Siraaj Phillips that resides in Cape Town South Africa.

Siraaj’s journey begins in 2017 after being introduced to the psytrance scene , before that he was producing hardcore and jungle , but after a few raves he switched to psytrance, hence the Chimerical project was born. 

In 2021 he started playing gigs and shared lineups with Cape Town legends such as Archive(MMD), Terror Hippie , Keelo and Absolute Threshold(Mythical Experience). 

Chimerical means the product of an unchecked imagination, therefore the goal of the project is to bring listeners to visionary states through music by means of active meditation/dance. 

Chimericals prefered BPM ranges from 147 to 150 nightime psy.
